A.R. Rahman wins Golden globe award for slumdog millionaire

A.R. Rahman creates history in the world by bagging the golden globe award at Los Angeles on Sunday. The Indian maestro receives this valuable award for the best original music score for Slum dog millionaire and this movie also got best screenplay and best direction awards. Rahman got this award for the song “Jai ho” which was written by the famous lyricist Gulzar. Indian music director was stunned when he came to know that the song got golden globe award and expressed his feelings saying “It is unbelievable”. He just thanked billions of people in India and all the music directors of Chennai. And definitely this will be the proud moment for A.R. Rahman as well as for India. A.R Rahaman gets the 66th golden globe award and he his the first Indian to receive it. A.R.Rahman’s music is the major underscore of the movie and works synergistically with some remarkable direction from Danny Boyle.

Ernesto Guevara de la Serna popularly known as Che Guevara, was born on June 14, 1928 in Argentina.As a young medical student ,Guevara and his friend Alberto Grenado travelled latin america and witnessed proverty.During the trip he experiences that the region ingrained with economic inequalities due to captalism,neocolonialism and imperialism.From these experience,he started his world revolution.

After completing his medical studies, Guevara became a political activist, first in his native Argentina and then Bolivia and Guatemala.His name is often equated with guerrilla warfare, revolution and socialism.

In 1954, Guevara took part in Fidel Castro’s efforts to over throw the Batista government in Cuba. When Castro seized power in 1959, Guevara became the president of the Cuban national bank.

Three years later he was appointed as Minister of Industry. In 1966, with his small guerrilla force he tried to incite the people of Bolivia to rebel against government. He was later captured and killed by the Bolivian army in 1967.
