Girlfriend -The Menace

I would often say ‘Girlfriend the Menace’. It all started the day I fell in love with Jane, the girl next door studying in the same University. I proposed her 1 year ago and from the day one ‘Girlfriend the Menace’ has been my favorite phrase. The first week went off smoothly until I had to party out with my colleagues. I am a good smoker when my pals are around and this irritates her. A small quarrel would start that ends in a big clash. As usual like any other boyfriend after swimming with lots of falsehood I would run off. Time passed by and it was Christmas and New Year eve. One cannot stop partying. As usual my friends swamped me and took me for a beer bash. The next day was awful combating with her. Phew, that’s why sometimes I feel ‘A beer is better than a woman’. But a small slap made me live in peace for a couple of months( I had no contact with her for 60 days). Like any other boyfriend I pleaded my apology and won her back. After reading this again I got to combat her, but folks mind one thing, playing and fighting with a girlfriend is a fun and unlimited enjoyment.

Time Stands Still And Beauty Overwhelms

There are some beautiful and romantic places where time stands still & beauty overwhelms. We travelled some of the most outstanding nature and scenic destinations in Europe .Here are some best places that we enjoyed a lot during our summer trip to Europe. Venice, Italy is a True romantic city, variable climate with the freezing winter and a dizzy summer throughout the year. There are many museums which depicts the cultural impact of 15th century to the current day and also lots of musical history.

Burgundy, France a place of hills and valleys. You can take a bike and enjoy this place to the fullest, the red wine and the white are among the best in the world. Its a least expensive place. Amsterdam, the city surrounded by a no of canals, also bridges across these canals adds the beauty to this city, and beautiful waterways that links to the city. During the winter, the canal freezes and its a good time for the skateboarders to skate in it.There are many to say about this city’s beauty.

Swiss Alps, its one of the popular tourist places, a place for honeymooners with a freezing climate. Living near to swiss border is an advantage to us, so we can visit whenever we want without any issues. Dufourspitze is the highest summit in this place and other summits are Dom and Matterhorn. We are fascinated by this place because of its climate, snow and a pleasant climate. But the cost of living is quiet expensive. Cannes, a place located in southeastern france, a best place for shopping and to enjoy the traditional french living style, famous for various luxury shops, prestigious hotels and restaurants and a long beach separated from the hotels, bars and restaurants that is coming to my mind when we all went there. This place is famous and well-known for Cannes film festival. Today, all the above places remain one of the most popular vacation destinations in Europe.

The Joke’s on Him?

Heath Ledger, who played the joker in Batman did not live to see his portrayal feted. An Australian by birth, this actor was born on April 4th 1979 in Perth.Ledger loved playing chess and he won western Australia’s junior chess championship at the age of 10.He sat for his graduation exams at the age of 16 and left school to pursue an acting career. He is known for his role in ‘The Patriot’,’ The Four Feathers’, ‘A Knight’s Tales’ and won an award for his role in The Patriot. He also won awards his role in ‘Broke back Mountain’. More than a star Heath Ledger was on his way to becoming an acclaimed actor for his role as the Joker, Ledger slipped into the character of the role by living in a hotel alone and recording in a diary, the way the Joker would behave. For him ,the Joker was a living, breathing character. The actor was having trouble sleeping and was taking quite a few medications for this. He died of what was later termed as “abuse of prescription medications”, on Jan 22 2008.It was a sudden end to a very talented actor and the Joker is seen as one of his best performances.
